RESOLUTION NO. 8437-10 BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Madigan, <br />Powers, Smith, Summers <br />A RESOLUTION to thank Virginia Marti Veith, for participating as the 2010 <br />Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4th of July Parade. <br />1NHEREAS, Virginia Marti Veith, a long time business owner in Lakewood, <br />is an active member of our community; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Edward FitzGerald and the 2010 City of Lakewood <br />Parade Committee chose Virginia Marti Veith to be the Grand Marshal; and, <br />WHEREAS, Virginia Marti Veith is to be recognized for her support and <br />involvement in the community of Lakewood. Now therefore; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Virginia Marti <br />Veith their appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this community <br />for her exceptional community spirit and dedication to the Lakewood community. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward this Resolution to Virginia Marti Veith and that a copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Couhcil <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: <br />Approved: /D <br />
