Exhibit ~ <br />Criteria for tax abatement for new residential construction in Community Reinvestment Area #4: <br />Level 1: 5 yeaz duration at 50% exemption <br />If the proposed development meets the following criteria the City may grant Level 1 exemptions: <br />A. Must be a minimum of 8 units. <br />B. Must meet all condition and requirements of the Multifamily High Density Zone <br />district. <br />C. Must meet the Architectural Board of Review's design criteria for high quality design <br />and materials. <br />Leve12: 5 yeaz duration ap-te at a 100% exemption <br />If the proposed development meets the following criteria the City may grant Leve12 exemptions: <br />A. Must meet the all of the criteria in Level 1 and be a minimum of 12 units. <br />B. Must include provisions for energy efficiency that include, but are not limited to, <br />energy-efficient windows, high-efficiency HVAC and insulation with an R-value <br />hi¢her than standard building-code requirements. <br />C. Must provide storm water quality measures over and above those akeady mandated by <br />federal, state or local code such as but not limited to pervious pavement, bio-swales and <br />landscaped detention azeas:, in compliance with current best practices, as outlined by the <br />Cuvahot;a Soil and Water Conservation District and the Ohio Environmental Protection <br />Aeency <br />Leve13: F3p~e 10 year duration at 100% exemption <br />If the proposed development meets the following criteria the City may grant Leve13 exempfions: <br />A. Must meet the all of the criteria in Level 1 and 2 and be a minimum of 15 units. <br />B. Must provide pedestrian and or recreational connectivity to the riverfront. <br />
