RESOLUTION NO. sszo-ii <br />BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Finance to accept, on behalf of the <br />City of Lakewood, a donation from the Lakewood Kiwanis of five hundred dollars ($500) <br />to fund the purchase of pediatric backboard used for patient transport by the City of <br />.Lakewood EMS. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood Division of Fire currently does not have a <br />pediatric backboard on reserve Squad 4; and <br />WHEREAS, pediatric backboards should be on all squads for patient care and <br />immobilization; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lakewood Kiwanis has generously agreed to donate five hundred <br />dollars ($500) for purchase of a pediatric backboard. Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to accept, on <br />behalf of the City of Lakewood, a donation from the Lakewood Kiwanis of five hundred <br />dollars ($500) to fund the purchase of a pediatric backboard for use on reserve Squad <br />4. <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal actions were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: ~ <br />Approved: ~~~j 2" j <br />li a' - ~~ <br />President <br />' ~~` <br />Clerk <br />Mayor <br />
