RESOLUTION NO. 8539-11 By; Andeson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least <br />five (5) members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed <br />by law, authorizing the Mayor or his designee to enter into an amendment to an agreement with The West <br />Side Community House to provide Wrap services under the Family to Family System of Care Program <br />for those individuals residing outside of the City of Lakewood for the period of January 1, 2012 to March <br />31, 2012 in an amount estimated to be $12,850.00 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has received notification from the Cuyahoga County <br />Department of Children and Family Services of an increase in grant funds for the Family to Family <br />Neighborhood System of Care program which includes the provision of Wrap services for families living <br />in designated neighborhoods; and <br />WHEREAS, City of Lakewood employees will provide services under this agreement to <br />Lakewood residents and the Westside Community House will provide services for those individuals that <br />reside outside of Lakewood; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) of its members determines that this <br />resolution is an emergency measure, and that this resolution shall take effect at the earliest date possible <br />as set forth in ARTICLE RI, SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE <br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, <br />health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that this <br />legislation is necessary to continue services under this grant commencing January 1, 2012 Now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to enter into an amendment <br />to an agreement The West Side Community House to provide Wrap services under the Family to Family <br />System of Care Program for those individuals residing outside of the City of Lakewood for the period of <br />January 1, 2012 to March 31, 2012 in an amount estimated to be $12,850.00. <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and <br />relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that ail <br />such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions were <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the <br />immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfaze in the City and for the <br />usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this resolution, <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of members of Council, this resolution <br />
