MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />between <br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO <br />and <br />LAKEWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />regarding <br />SHARED/RECIPROCAL FACILITY USE <br />THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ("MOU") is entered into at <br />Lakewood, Ohio, on this day of , 2012 by and between the City of LAKEWOOD, <br />12650 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 [hereinafter referred to as "CITY"], and the <br />LAKEWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, 1470 Warren Road, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 <br />[hereinafter referred to as "SCHOOL DISTRICT"]; and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY provides SCHOOL DISTRICT with various services of value to <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT without obligation; and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT recognize the benefit for all Lakewood <br />citizens in allowing the CITY to use SCHOOL DISTRICT facilities for certain purposes and of <br />allowing SCHOOL DISTRICT to use CITY facilities for certain proposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties are memorializing this arrangement below in order to foster <br />greater clarity and communication between the CITY and SCHOOL DISTRICT; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Resolution No. 2012-_ authorized the <br />Mayor to enter into and to administer this MOU; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lakewood City School District Board of Education ("BOARD"), <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 2012- ,authorized the Superintendent to enter into and to administer <br />this MOU; and <br />{26306/01183828-2} <br />
