APPENDIX A: PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Transit Waiting Environment -Bus Shelter Enhancements/Amenities <br />Project Costs: $14,406 <br />Project Location: <br />Supported Bus Routes: <br />Project Description: <br />The above amenities shall meet the following criteria and/or restrictions: <br />• ADAAG Compliance: Atl amenities must be compliant with the Americans with <br />Disabllifies Act (ADA) and Architectural Barriers ,4cf Accessibility Guidelines <br />(ADAAG) dated July 23, 2004. All protects shall also comply with the most <br />current drag version of the Access Board's Guidelines for Accessible Public <br />Rights-of--Way unless a specific variance is granted by the GCRTA. <br />• Permits and Fees: C/TY is responsible for coordinating and obtaining alt <br />necessary permits and fees for the work. <br />• Certificate of Insurance: CITY must submit a Certificate of Insurance with <br />enclosed confracfual agreement. <br />• Maintenance: GCRTA will continue to maintain the steelier environment. <br />including the standard GCRTA stop components, which consist of a bus target <br />and standard Brasco shelter {if applicable}. <br />GCRTA shalt not mainfain or replace any specialized amenities beyond fhe <br />standard bus fargef and Brasco shelter. Awardees are responsible for <br />providing a mainfenance plan wifh enclosed confracfual agreement. <br />
