APPENDIX A: PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Transit Waiting Environment- Bus Shelter EnhancementslAmenities <br />Project Costs: $14,400 <br />Project location; <br />Supported Bus Routes: <br />Project Description; <br />The above amenities shall meet the following criteria and/or restrictions: <br />^ ADAAG Compliance: AIt amenities must be compliant with the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act (ADA) .and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines <br />(ADAAG) dated July 23, 2004. All projects shall also comply with the most <br />current draft version of the Access Board's Guidelines for Accessible Public <br />Rights-of--Way unless a specific variance is granted by the GCRTA. <br />^ Permits and Fees: CITY is responsible for coordinating and obtaining all <br />necessary permits and fees for the work. <br />^ Certificate of Insurance: C/TY must submit a Certificate of Insurance with <br />enclosed contractual agreement. <br />Maintenance: GCRTA will continue to maintain the shelter environment. <br />Including the standard GCRTA stop components, which consist of a bus target <br />and standard Brasco shelter (if applicable). <br />GCRTA shall not maintain or replace any specialized amenities beyond fhe <br />standard bus targef and Brasco shelter. Awardees are respons/b/e for <br />providing a maintenance plan wlfh enclosed contracfual agreemenf. <br />
