RESOLUTION NO: 8655 -13 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to commend LakewoodAlive Volunteer Champion award recipients <br />for their selfless, dedicated service to the City of Lakewood. <br />WHEREAS, in March, LakewoodAlive honored ten of Lakewood's extraordinary <br />volunteers for applying their skills and talents in a myriad of ways to benefit the greater <br />community, and <br />WHEREAS, from painting porches and cleaning streets, to providing professional video <br />or legal services, each volunteer committed their time and talents to the ever expanding success <br />of Lakewood, and <br />WHEREAS, Curt Brosky, Chas Geiger, Steven Ott, Reverend Laura Jaissle, Kevin <br />Rush, Lori Uldricks, Tamara Karel, Paula Reed, 2012 Laskey Service Award recipients Jeanne <br />Mackay and Sean McGuan deserve our commendation and deepest gratitude, and <br />WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that the volunteer contributions rendered by <br />these civic minded, civic hearted individuals be given public cognizance and recognition; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Curt Brosky, Chas Geiger, <br />Steven Ott, Reverend Laura Jaissle, Jeanne Mackay, Sean McGuan Kevin Rush, Lori Uldricks, <br />Tamara Karel, Paula Reed, sincere appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community <br />for their dedication and service to bettering the Lakewood community. <br />Section 2.
