RESOLUTIONNO. 866871$ BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to thank H2O Service Organization for participating as the 2013 <br />Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 41" of July Parade. <br />WHEREAS, H2O, celebrating its 20°i anniversary, is a collaborative effort between <br />the Department of Human Services /Youth and Lakewood City Schools dedicated to strengthening <br />and enriching the region by engaging its young people as community builders. <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2013 City of Lakewood Parade <br />Committee chose H2O to be the Grand Marshal; and, <br />WHEREAS, H2O is to be recognized for its support and involvement in the <br />community of Lakewood. Now therefore; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this council and Mayor, hereby extend to H2O their appreciation as <br />well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this community for their exceptional community spirit <br />and dedication to the Lakewood community. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward this Resolution to H2O Service Organization and that a copy of the Resolution be spread <br />upon the minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3, It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />d y <br />PRESIDENT <br />G4 t (x 7 <br />CLERK I <br />Approved: Z e3 ! 1 .> ,.� <br />MAYOR <br />
