RESOLUfIONNO. 8670 -13 -A BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, <br />Madigan, Nowlin, Powers, Smith <br />A RESOLUTION supporting the application of the City of Lakewood to the Cuyahoga <br />Count), Brownfield Redevelopment Fund Community Assessment Initiative in the City. <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct an environmental assessment of the property at <br />1381 West Clifton Blvd., Lakewood, Ohio, PPN 311 -22 -028 (McKinley School); and <br />WHEREAS, there is funding available for the assessment of the property through the <br />Cuyahoga County Brownfield Redevelopment Fund Community Assessment Initiative; and <br />WI IEREAS, the City desires to make application for a grant to fund the assessment of the <br />property through the Cuyahoga County Brownfield Redevelopment Fund Community Assess- <br />ment Initiative; and <br />WHEREAS, additional assessment of this property will assist the Board of Education in <br />the statutorily mandated process required for the disposition of the property; and <br />WI IF,REAS, the City will benefit from the additional information when assisting with the <br />redevelopment of the property; and <br />WI IEREAS, the City desires to support this application for such funding; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood supports the City's application to <br />the Cuyahoga County Brownfield Redevelopment Fund Connnunity Assessment Initiative for a <br />grant to receive funding for the assessment of the property at 1381 West Clifton Blvd., Lake- <br />wood, Ohio, PPN 311 -22 -028 known as McKinley school. <br />Section 2.
