RESOLUTION NO. 8672 -13 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Bowers. <br />A RESOLUTION recognizing Cliffs Natural Resources for its volunteer efforts in the <br />City of Lakewood. <br />Whereas, on June 21" more than 100 volunteers from Cliffs Natural Resources partnered <br />with LakewoodAlive for the company's annual Cliffs Cares day of service, and <br />Whereas, the enthusiastic volunteers undertook eight projects citywide including painting <br />two houses, enhancing a vacant lot in historic Birdtown, making repairs to historic properties, <br />and building 27 planter boxes for Madison Avenue, and <br />Whereas the total investment for this event was thousands of dollars and thousands of <br />hours and it is only fitting and proper Lakewood City Council extends thanks to the team at <br />Cliffs Natural Resources for all of their hard work, and <br />Whereas, the people of Lakewood appreciate their commitment to our community; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and Mayor duly recognize the volunteer efforts of Cliffs <br />Natural Resources. <br />Section 2.
