RESOLUTION NO. 8714 -14 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, <br />Madigan, Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary. <br />A RESOLUTION supporting the application of the City of Lakewood to the Cuyahoga <br />County U.S. EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund in the City. <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct an environmental assessment of the property at <br />1381 West Clifton Blvd., Lakewood, Ohio, PPN 311 -22 -028 (McKinley School); and <br />WHEREAS, there is funding available for asbestos remediation of the property through <br />the Cuyahoga County U.S. EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to make application for a grant to fund the asbestos remedi- <br />ation of the property through the Cuyahoga County U.S. EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City will benefit from the asbestos abatement when assisting with the <br />redevelopment of the property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to support this application for such funding; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lakewood supports the City's application to <br />the Cuyahoga County U.S. EPA Brownfield Revolving Loan Fund for a grant to receive funding <br />for the asbestos remediation of the property at 1381 West Clifton Blvd., Lakewood, Ohio, PPN <br />311 -22 -028, known as McKinley school. <br />Section 2.
