RESOLUTION NO. 8731 -14 <br />Introduced and referred to Committee <br />of the Whole April 7, 2014. Substi- <br />tuted for the original April 21, <br />2014. <br />Anderson, Bullock, Juris, <br />BY: Madigan, Marx, Nowlin, <br />O'Leary <br />A RESOLUTION extending the reporting deadline and expiration date governing the <br />Lakewood Tree Task Force. <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8613 -12, which created the Lakewood Tree Task Force, es- <br />tablished a nine -month deadline for the task force to report to Council and the Mayor, and pro- <br />vided a sunset on the task force 12 months from its creation; and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8686 -13 extended the task force until February 28, 2014; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council determines that the task force, which has been working throughout <br />2013 and 2014, should be extended in order to continue its work and report to Council and the <br />Mayor; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. The Lakewood Tree Task force shall make report to Council and the Mayor <br />by September 5, 2014. <br />Section 2. The task force shall be disbanded without further action of Council on De- <br />cember 31, 2014. <br />Section 3.
