RESOLUTION NO. 8739 -14 -A BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary. <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Lakewood High School Men's Basketball Team <br />for an outstanding 2013 -2014 basketball season. <br />WHEREAS, the Lakewood Rangers Men's Basketball Team was victorious in <br />capturing its first conference title in 40 years, and <br />WHEREAS, through the expert guidance of Phil Argento, who was named West <br />Shore Conference Coach of the Year, Lakewood High School Men's Basketball Team has <br />brought honor to themselves, their school and to our entire community; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. On behalf of the residents of Lakewood, the Lakewood City Council <br />and Mayor extend to the Lakewood High School Men's Basketball Team its commendation and <br />the commendation of all the citizens of the community for its outstanding athletic achievements <br />during the 2013 -2014 high school basketball season. <br />Section 2.
