RESOLUTION NO. g756 -14 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary. <br />A RESOLUTION to thank Mr. James Anderson for participating as the 2014 Grand <br />Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4"' of July Parade. <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson is a life -long Lakewood resident and has served as an <br />employee of the City of Lakewood for 63 years. Furthermore, lie has been an engaged and <br />committed member of the community for equally as long; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2014 City of Lakewood Parade <br />Committee chose Mr. Anderson to be the Grand Marshal; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson is to be recognized for his support and involvement in the <br />community of Lakewood. Now therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this council and Mayor, hereby extend to Mr. Anderson their <br />appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this city for his exceptional community <br />service and dedication to the Lakewood community. <br />Section 2, That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward this Resolution to Mr. Anderson and that a copy of the Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3, It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: Jul <br />PRESIDENT <br />
