RESOLUTIONNO.8790 -14 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary. <br />A RESOLUTION honoring The Lakewood High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team for <br />their outstanding season. <br />WHEREAS, The Lakewood High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team achieved an <br />astounding 12 -6 winning season, and <br />WHEREAS, Along with his teammates, Alex Rosul helped propel the Lakewood High <br />School Boys Soccer Team to a winning season with Alex scoring 24 goals. Alex became one of <br />the top Division 1 scorers in the state, was awarded second team ALL -STATE honors from the <br />Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA) and first team ALL - GREATER <br />CLEVELAND honors from the Greater Cleveland High School Soccer Coaches Association <br />(GCSSCA), and <br />WHEREAS, great credit and congratulations are owed Head Coach Andrew Toth for <br />inspiring and guiding his team to ever greater heights; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and Mayor on behalf of the residents of Lakewood <br />commend the Lakewood High School Soccer athletes for their outstanding 2014 season. <br />Section 2.
