RESOLUTIONNO. 8879 -16 BY. Anderson, Bullock, Litten, Marx, <br />Nowlin, O'Leary, O'Malley. <br />A RESOLUTION to thank Rear Admiral Janet Russell Donovan for participating as <br />the 2016 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4 °i of July Parade. <br />WHEREAS, Admiral Donovan is a native of Lakewood, a product of Lakewood <br />Public Schools and an inductee into the Lakewood High School distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2016 City of Lakewood Parade <br />Committee chose Admiral Donovan to be the Grand Marshal; and, <br />WHEREAS, Admiral Donovan is to be recognized and honored for her support and <br />commitment to her community and country. Now therefore; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this council and Mayor, hereby extend to Admiral Donovan their <br />appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this city for her exceptional service and <br />dedication. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward this Resolution to Admiral Donovan and that a copy of the Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3.
