<br />• A "low- moderate income position" does not require special skills that can only be acquired with substantial
<br />training, work experience or education beyond high school as a prerequisite. However, the Borrower may hire
<br />unqualified persons and provide training necessary to perform the job.

<br />LAKEWOOD'S COMMERCIAL PROPERTY REVITALIZATION PROGRAM
<br />Lakewood's Commercial Property Revitalization Program (CPR) improves the appearance, structural integrity, and long-
<br />term sustainability of the City's primary commercial structures and corridors, and incentivizes private investment by
<br />offering financial support for facade improvements and the correction of code violations. Assistance is provided as a
<br />rebate of up to 40% of eligible project costs up to $30,000. Recipient businesses are held to higher design standards to
<br />inspire innovation and creativity. All projects must comply with Lakewood's Sign Ordinance and receive approval by the
<br />City's Architectural Board of Review.
<br />Eligible exterior improvements include, but are not limited to, brick re- pointing and cleaning; replacement of bulkhead
<br />and tile work; roof repair /replacement; carpentry; masonry; door /window replacement; enhanced ADA accessibility;
<br />parking lot and aesthetic site improvements; and signage. Certain interior code improvements are also eligible when
<br />completed in conjunction with exterior facade improvements including electrical, plumbing and structural repairs. At
<br />least 75% of CPR assistance must be utilized for exterior improvements.
