RESOLUTIONNO. 8943 -17 BY: Anderson, Litten, Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary, O'Malley. A RESOLUTION to thank Mr. David Stein for participating as the 2017 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4'h of July Parade. WHEREAS, Mr. Stein has been a resident of Lakewood for over 25 years and his tireless and inspiring work in the community highlights his sincere commitment to the future of Lakewood; and, WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2017 City of Lakewood Parade Committee chose Mr. Stein to be the Grand Marshal; and, WHEREAS, Mr. Stein is to be recognized and honored for his support and commitment to his community. Now therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this council and Mayor, hereby extend to Mr. Stein their appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this city for his exceptional service and dedication. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward this Resolution to Mr. Stein and that a copy of the Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Section 3.
