• Investigations and analyses of existing site, structures, equipment, <br />processes, and operations; <br />• Plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and equipment <br />layouts that illustrate and describe the refinement of the Project's design <br />and the size and character of the Project in terms of architectural, <br />structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, materials, and <br />other elements as may be appropriate; <br />• Specifications sufficient to identify the quality and other characteristics of <br />the proposed or selected materials, equipment, finishes, fixtures, and <br />systems; <br />• Projected energy recovery calculations; and <br />• A written description of all proposed modifications of the City's Goals <br />and Objectives, and resolutions to all issues related to permitting (both <br />construction related and operational). <br />There shall be review meetings with the City at each stage. <br />All plans, specifications, design documents and other documents required to be generated <br />and/or submitted to the City are subject to City review whereafter, upon approval of the City <br />Engineer, the DB shall undertake the performance of the next phase or stage of Work identified <br />by the City in accordance with the City's pre- approved schedule and upon issuance of an <br />Authorization to Proceed by the City as noted within these Contract Documents. <br />In the event the plans and specifications tendered for review by the City Engineer and <br />permitting agencies are unacceptable and/or require revisions, the FOR shall undertake such <br />revisions and modifications as required on a timely basis and in accordance with the directives <br />and /or instructions and /or suggestions of the City Engineer and /or the Criteria Engineer. <br />Provided, however, no such directives, instructions or suggestions of the City Engineer and/or <br />the Criteria Engineer shall constitute assumption of nor relieve the DB or the FOR from any of <br />the express duties and responsibilities set forth within this Agreement. <br />In furtherance of the above, the City may call and require attendance of identified DB and <br />FOR representatives for review meetings at each stage or at any other time as the City elects. <br />Upon approval of all Design Development Stage deliverables (i.e., the Basis of Design, <br />Preliminary Design, 30 %, and 60 % design stages above - noted), the FOR shall generate the <br />final design documents for the Project.
