Provide a narrative description of your idea in 250 words or less. Attach a separate sheet <br />if necessary <br />Identify a Webb Park working group to lead a neighborhood discussion regarding an upgraded <br />Webb Park for 2019 and beyond. While the scope and shape of a revitalized Webb Park will be <br />key to this effort, it is not anticipated that such work would be as costly an investment as what <br />has been decided for other essential Lakewood Parks. In addition, the current playground <br />equipment is determined by some to have existed beyond its anticipated and useful life. <br />2. Briefly explain how this will benefit the community: <br />Webb Park is an important community asset. As such, a revitalized Webb Park, available to all <br />Lakewood residents, will increase park use, promote a healthy lifestyle and benefit neighbors <br />and neighborhoods for decades to come. <br />3. Estimated expense (provide a range): <br />Unless this project is fast - tracked, administrative talent and time on task intended for 2018. <br />Capital improvement funds of an amount to be determined anticipated for the 2019 budget. <br />Council can look to the administration to report as to the costs involved in revitalizing Cove and <br />Wagar Parks. <br />4. If applicable, summarize any proposals or discussions from the past that are related to <br />this priority. <br />32 <br />
