RESOLUTIONNO. 9013 -18 BY: Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten <br />O'Leary, O'Malley, Rader <br />A RESOLUTION to thank Mr. Chas Geiger and Mr. Gordon Geiger for participating <br />as the 2018 Grand Marshals in the City of Lakewood 4 °i of July Parade. <br />WHEREAS, Chas and Gordon have been lifelong residents of Lakewood and their <br />tireless and inspiring work in the community highlight their sincere commitment to the future of <br />Lakewood; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2018 City of Lakewood Parade <br />Committee chose Chas and Gordon to be the Grand Marshals; and, <br />WHEREAS, Chas and Gordon are to be recognized and honored for their support and <br />commitment to their community. Now therefore; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this council and Mayor, hereby extend to Chas and Gordon their <br />appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this city for their exceptional service <br />and dedication. <br />Section 2, That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward this Resolution to Chas and Gordon and that a copy of the Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3, It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: <br />" ^c <br />t.t <br />Y <br />Approved: �I CY <br />036 <br />
