Attach a separate sheet if necessary: I would like to retain the slate sidewalks throughout the City that are in good condition but need to be leveled. This proposal would allow for the City to help fund the cost to have these slate pieces leveled rather than place the additional cost on the homeowner. In essence, the City would be taking on the cost to have these pieces leveled by the contractor. 2. Briefly explain how this will benefit the community: Maintaining our historical character is important to many members of our community and helps us attract business and residents that want to be part of a community that values our uniqueness. 3. Estimated expense (provide a range): To be provided. Working with public works on a dollar figure. 4. If applicable, summarize any proposals or discussions from the past that are related to this priority. None that I am aware of other than this is what I believe to be an enhancement to our sidewalk program. 5.
