Anderson, to defer Ordinances Nos. 7 -18, 8 -18, 9 -18, 10 -18, 11 -18, 12 -18, 13 -18, 14 -18, 15 -18, and 16 -18 — items 10 -19. Motion adopted. ORDINANCE NO. 17 -18 — AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of two thirds members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Director of Finance to enter into Equipment Leases in forms approved by the Director of Law on behalf of the City of Lakewood. Mr. George submitted the following: The Rules & Ordinances Committee met this evening. All members were present. We met to discuss, after the adoption of the Third Amended Charter some of the Code additions and changes. We didn't come to a conclusion at that point; move to defer. Motion by Mr. O'Leary and seconded to receive and file that communication. Motion adopted. All members voting yea. 22. ORDINANCE NO. 38 -17 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law enacting Chapter 123, Departments and Directors Established, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to codify the administrative departments and their directors' responsibilities within the City.
