ORDINANCE 71 -18 — AN ORDINANCE authorizing the issuance of special obligation income tax revenue notes in the amount of not to exceed $650,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds; to pay costs of improving sidewalks within the City, together with all appurtenances thereto; providing for the pledge of revenues from the City's 1.50% income tax to secure the payment of the principal of and interest on the notes in anticipation of bonds; and approving related matters; and declaring an emergency. ORDINANCE 72 -18 — AN ORDINANCE authorizing the issuance of special obligation income tax revenue notes in the amount of not to exceed $2,000,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds; to pay costs of designing, engineering, and constructing water improvements, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto; providing for the pledge of revenues from the City's 1.50% income tax to secure the payment of the principal of and interest on the notes in anticipation of bonds; and approving related matters; and declaring an emergency. ORDINANCE 73 -18 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Director of Finance to enter into Equipment Leases in forms approved by the Director of Law on behalf of the City of Lakewood. Communication from Human Services Director Gelsomino regarding donation of funds for a pilot project for senior and disabled transportation. (pg. 17 8) Motion by Mr. Anderson, seconded by President O'Leary to receive and file. Discussion: President O'Leary hailed this as great news and remarked that a discussion in committee would be welcome in 2019. All members voted in favor. Motion adopted.
