Motion passed. Ordinance 36-18 deferred. <br /> 4. Public Safety Committee report regarding meeting held June 3, 2019. (to be provided) <br /> The Public Safety Committee met tonight and we heard from Chief Malley about the annual <br /> report from the Police Department with statistics comparing year by year many incidents and <br /> performance measures for 2018. The Committee had a chance to discuss different facets and <br /> details of that. We ran short on time so we did not have a chance to deliberate on the two <br /> ordinances that remain before us. The Law Department prepared substitute versions of <br /> Ordinance 5-19 and Ordinance 6-19. We are hoping to dispose of both of those ordinances <br /> with one more meeting. The Police annual report will be available soon on the website and <br /> there is a lot of valuable information in there. Crime is down in many categories and different <br /> 2 <br />
