Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten, <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9079 -19 <br />BY: O'Leary, O'Malley, Rader <br />A RESOLUTION to thank Lakewood Community Service Center for participating as the <br />2019 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4`h of July Parade. <br />WHEREAS, Lakewood Community Service Center was founded in 1982 by 12 Lakewood <br />Churches and their generosity and engagement in the community accentuate their dedication to the <br />future of Lakewood; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2019 City of Lakewood Parade Committee <br />chose Lakewood Community Service Center to be the Grand Marshals; and, <br />WHEREAS, the staff and volunteers of Lakewood Community Service Center are to be <br />recognized and honored for their support and commitment to their community. Now therefore; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. This council and Mayor hereby extend to the Lakewood Community Service <br />Center their appreciation of all citizens of this city for their exceptional service and dedication. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to forward this resolution <br />to the Lakewood Community Service Center and, a copy of the resolution shall be spread upon the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and <br />relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: <br />Adopted: <br />CLERK <br />Z) <br />ZA4 <br />MAYOR <br />
