Communication from Council President O'Leary regarding new codification ordinance. <br /> (pg. 14) <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 10. ORDINANCE 26-19 -AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, to approve the editing and <br /> inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes of the Codified <br /> Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter. (pg. 15) <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson to defer Ordinance 26- <br /> 19. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 26-19 deferred. <br /> 11. Communication from Councilmember Rader regarding Council appointments to the Tree <br /> Advisory Education Board. (to be provided) <br /> Public Works Chairman Rader delivered the following oral communication: <br /> The following three resolutions are the three appointments Council will have to make to the <br /> Tree Advisory& Education Board. In your email and at your desk you will have a packet with <br /> some of the applicants. Feel free to look over that but I am going to move to defer the next <br /> three pieces of legislation until we review our applicants and after that the administration will <br /> have a chance at appointing two members. <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson to receive and file the <br /> communication. <br /> Discussion: Council discussed the process by which it will narrow down its selection of <br /> applicants.
