19. Communication from Chief Dunphy regarding acceptance of EMS grant funds for 2019. <br /> (pg. 085) <br /> Motion by President O'Leary, seconded by Vice President Anderson to receive & file the <br /> communication. <br /> All members voting yea. Motion passed. <br /> ....LIQUOR PERMITS.... <br /> 20. Liquor permit to Summer House LLC— 12900 Lake Ave, Unit 42 (pg. 088) <br /> Noting that Council has not received a report, President O'Leary moved to defer. Motion was <br /> seconded. <br /> All members voting yea. Motion passed. <br /> ****PUBLIC COMMENT"" <br /> Scott Hubay—Cleveland <br /> Mr. Hubay applauded the City for its commitment to clean energy and for moving forward with solar <br /> energy. He noted that the City will save$14,000 in the program's first year and over$500,000 over <br /> 20 years while reducing the carbon footprint. He applauded Lakewood for showing leadership and <br /> expressed hope that it would create a new standard for the region. <br /> Coletta Graham—1286 Chase Ave <br /> Mrs. Graham asked public safety questions on the following topics: <br /> • Enforcement of the new cell phone use while driving ban <br /> • The legality of lawn sign placement <br /> • Speeding on her street <br /> Captain Wilkins and Director Butler responded. <br /> ""ANNOUNCEMENTS"" <br /> Vice President Anderson applauded Lakewood Alive and City departments for their work at <br /> the Spooky Pooch Parade.
