Communication from Councilmember Shachner regarding appointing a liaison to the <br /> Youth Council (to be provided) <br /> Councilmember Shachner referenced Council's creation of the Youth Advisory Council <br /> (YAC) last year and noted that the YAC had its inaugural meeting last month. He proposed <br /> appointing a liaison from Council to the YAC to increase the likelihood that the group's ideas <br /> turn into policy.
