Mayor George noted that she has been committed to making the development agreement <br /> happen since taking office as mayor. She expressed a need to be careful about what she says <br /> due to potential pending litigation. She also stated how COVID-19 has changed how people <br /> and companies will work, and that this gives Lakewood the opportunity to recalibrate the <br /> project to ensure it is best for the city. <br /> Councilmember Rader expressed a desire to have as much of the conversation in public, and <br /> avoid executive session.
