Motion passed. The oral report was received and filed. <br /> 5. ORDINANCE 07-2020 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or <br /> otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, to approve <br /> the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes of <br /> the Codified Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter. (I" <br /> reading 514120; 2"d reading 5118120) (pg. 003) <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance <br /> 07-2020. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. Ordinance 07-2020 was adopted. <br /> 6. ORDINANCE 10-2020 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect June 1, 2020 provided it <br /> received the vote of at least two-thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 135.05(c), Traffic Guards, <br /> Rate of Pay; Exceptions, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to allow to <br /> suspend salaries to Traffic Guards during an emergency where students are no longer <br /> attending classes in schools. (Referred to PS 5118120) (pg. 005) <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to defer Ordinance <br /> 10-2020. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed.
