Provide a brief narrative description of your idea: <br />Per the recommendation of the Tree Advisory and Education Board, and in accordance with the <br />20-Year Strategic Plan to Grow, Preserve and Manage Lakewood's Urban Forest, <br />renew and increase the Forestry budget to support the goal of reaching 33.5% by 2035. <br />2. Briefly explain how this will benefit the community: <br />Increasing the tree canopy improves stormwater remediation, air quality, property values, and the <br />health and quality of life for Lakewood residents. <br />3.
