The administration requested <br /> further guidance on Council's proposal so that it may better inform an RFP process. Director <br /> Leininger stated that the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and Lakewood Alive could be good <br /> partners in helping with business-to-business interaction, as there is no expertise in house to <br /> write an RFP for a consultant. <br /> 2021 Capital Plan <br /> Anticipated debt issuance <br /> Chairman Bullock stated that Council will hear from debt underwriters at the next Council <br /> meeting to discuss the appropriate levels of debt for the city. <br /> Proposed use of the Lakewood Hospital Fund <br /> Councilmember O'Malley stated his preference that the city be strategic in how it uses this one <br /> time money. He briefly reviewed the history of the fund and highlighted potential uses, such as <br /> the restoration of the Curtis Block building. Chairman Bullock to advocated for their strategic <br /> use and suggested they further leverage economic development activities. The mayor pointed to <br /> how the land acquisition fund was used strategically and likened the two's similarities. <br /> Councilmembers agreed that the past use of that fund would serve as a good benchmark for <br /> considered uses. <br /> Other items TBD <br /> Chairman Bullock adjourned the meeting without objection at 7:58 p.m. <br />
