MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> HELD ONLINE <br /> February 1, 2021 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:30 PM by President <br /> O'Malley. <br /> Present: Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Tess Neff, Daniel O'Malley, <br /> Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Law Director Corrigan, Planning Director Leininger, Finance <br /> Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief Dunphy, Public Works Director <br /> Ducu, Human Services Director Gelsomino, and members of the public. <br /> President O'Malley made a motion, seconded by Vice President Litten to approve the <br /> minutes of the January 19, 2021 meeting without the necessity of a reading. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. The minutes were approved. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> 1. Report from Public Works & Sustainability Committee meeting held January 25, 2021. <br /> (to be provided) <br /> Councilmember Rader read the following report into the record: <br /> The Public Works & Sustainability Committee met on the 25h at 6pm with all members <br /> present, along with Councilmember Neff Chief Dunphy, Director Ducu, and Engineer <br /> Papke. We reviewed Resolution 2021-02, which deals with the replacement of the Hilliard <br /> Bridge. The county has deemed it unsafe due to falling concrete coming from the bridge, <br /> along with other concerns. The county is running the design work on the replacement and the <br /> plan is to completely demolish the bridge and build a new one. The construction will start in <br /> 2022 and it is set to be completed by the end of 2023. It will have bike paths and pedestrian <br />
