Ordinance 03-2021 authorizes equipment leases, in this case its vehicles, which was <br /> previously adopted in the 2021 budget, use on a small scale. It explores getting new vehicles <br /> without incurring maintenance costs, as new vehicle replacement is needed. This new <br /> approach gives more flexibility to the city. The proporsed ordinance considers 5 hybrid <br /> police cruisers, which is up from the one we already have in operation. It performed well in <br /> 2020. There is potential to build upon that. The director has indicated that he is open to that. <br /> Councilmember Bullock made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and dile <br /> the oral report. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed.
