Councilmember Rader delivered the following oral report: <br /> We had 2 ordinances on the agenda and deferred on both ofthem. Ordinance 13-2021 involved <br /> a lease agreement between the HELP Foundation to run concessions at Lakewood Park. <br /> Details on staffing still need to be worked out, as the organization is slightly understaffed due <br /> to a lack of training during COVID. We need to make sure the weekends are covered. We <br /> deferred the item and will come back to it next meeting. Ordinance 39-2020 deals with trees <br /> and TEAB's role in the notification process around removal of city trees. There was a lot of <br /> great discussion. Ms. Kepple presented an amended version of the ordinance and the <br /> administration proposed a version as well. We're 95% of the way there on the ordinance. <br /> Councilmember Rader made a motion, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file the <br /> oral report. <br /> A roll call vote was taken as follows: <br /> Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Neff, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner <br /> Nays —None <br /> Motion passed. ORDINANCE 13-2021 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and <br /> directing the Mayor to enter into an amendment to the concession lease agreement with <br /> HELP Foundation, Inc. for the operation of food concessions at Lakewood Park, pursuant <br /> to Section 155.08 of the Codified Ordinances.
