<br /> 1 only support the 7th suggestion, as that should be front and center and not an afterthought. The racist
<br /> responses from the Mayor in closing the court and the unaccounted racism of citizens on social media pages only
<br /> create exclusive safety measures. Lakewood is 80% white, and City Council is 100% white. These public safety
<br /> recommendations center whiteness and do not consider the violent impact of police presence on Black and
<br /> Brown people. It makes them scapegoats when the problem is in the farmhouse. Lakewood's white population
<br /> being the residents of said farmhouse.
