The baseball/softball fields are an embarrassment for this city. <br /> Edwards and Stonehouse, up until recently, were utter garbage. The infields looked awful and the Recreation <br /> department can't properly maintain the fields in the off-season. Edwards is in the middle of town surrounded by <br /> active businesses and it looked awful until last week. Stonehouse is the first thing you see when you arrive at <br /> Lakewood Park and for the bulk of the past year appeared to look like the City had given up. <br /> Please hold the Rec department accountable for the infield and ask them to maintain the fields year round. <br />
