34. RESOLUTION 2020-26A - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Resolution No. 2020-26, adopted <br /> September 21, 2020 to increase the contracting authority from $4,150,000 to $5,150,000 <br /> with Infinity Construction Co., Inc. in order to replace the roof on the future <br /> intergenerational community center known commonly as Cove Church. (pg. 141) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer Resolution 2020- <br /> 26A to the Finance Committee. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2020-26A referred to the Finance <br /> Committee. <br /> 35. Communication from Director Leininger regarding Authorization to Sell Real Property <br /> Located at 1451 St. Charles. (pg. 143) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to receive and file the <br /> communication. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 36. ORDINANCE 30-2021 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect <br /> and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the <br /> Director of Planning and Development or the Mayor to enter into an agreement for the sale <br /> of 1451 St. Charles Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. (pg. 144) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to refer Ordinance 30-2021 <br /> to Housing, Planning & Development Committee. <br /> Discussion: Council and Director Leininger discussed some of the ongoing challenges with <br /> the property that make it less than desirable to developers during the two RFP processes. The <br /> property has been vacant for many years. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 30-2021 referred to <br /> Housing, Planning & Development Committee. <br /> 37. Communication from Director Rancatore regarding Amended 2021 Purchasing and <br /> Contracting Authority.
