September 21, 2020 to increase the contracting authority from $4,150,000 to $5,150,000 <br /> with Infinity Construction Co., Inc. in order to replace the roof on the future <br /> intergenerational community center known commonly as Cove Church. (Referred to <br /> Finance 917121) (pg. 32) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Resolution 2020- <br /> 26A. <br /> Discussion: Councilmember Kepple questioned whether the money for the roof repair could <br /> come from the city's ARPA funds. Director Rancatore indicated that the repair would not <br /> qualify for ARPA use based on the current guidelines. The administration will continue to <br /> monitor ARPA use. Councilmember Kepple also asked whether the roofing material was <br /> appropriate if the city decided it wanted to put solar panels in the future. Director Leininger <br /> indicated that he was not entirely sure, however that it was a point the city could raise with the <br /> contractor. <br /> On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2020-26A was <br /> adopted. <br /> 16. ORDINANCE 26-2021 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and <br /> directing the Director of Planning and Development to enter into an agreement with <br /> LakewoodAlive for the sale of 1462 Belle Avenue, pursuant to Section 155.07 of the <br /> Codified Ordinances. (Pread and referred to HPD 7119121; 2"d reading 917121) (pg. 34) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance 26- <br /> 2021. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 26-2021 was adopted. <br /> 17. ORDINANCE 28-2021 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br /> to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, to approve the editing <br /> and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes of the Codified <br /> Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter(Is'read 917121) (pg. 40) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley,seconded by Vice President Litten to defer Ordinance 28-2021. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 28-2021 was adopted. <br /> 18. ORDINANCE 30-2021 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council,or otherwise to take effect <br /> and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the <br /> Director of Planning and Development or the Mayor to enter into an agreement for the sale <br /> of 1451 St. Charles Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio.
