Provide a brief narrative description of your idea: <br />Design plans to construct a trail and other improvements from Hilliard to Hogsback on Riverside Dr <br />2. Briefly explain how this will benefit the community: <br />Pedestrian and bike connectivity for safe ingress and egress from the Metroparks. <br />3. Estimated expense (provide a range): <br />$100,000 for the City's portion of design in partnership with the Metroparks. <br />4. If applicable, describe any past proposals or discussions that are related to this priority. <br />An access study was completed and the recommendai8ns came from the Transportation for Livable <br />Communities Initiative in 2007 and the project is supported by the Cleveland Metroparks. <br />5. If applicable, describe any preliminary discussions you have had with colleagues, the administration <br />and/or your constituents about this priority. <br />The Director of Planning & Development and I have discussed the opportunity to enhance safety and <br />use of the Hogsback entrance into the Metroparks. Constituents have contacted me about getting <br />crosswalks and pedestrian walking and biking lanes for safe use of the park. <br />9 <br />
