Councilmember Neff expressed her support for the ordinance. She stated that City employees are <br /> public employees who do not have the opportunities for raises that happen in the private sector. <br /> She noted that packaged with health benefits and vacation, this benefit will help attract <br /> employees. <br /> The Clerk read a public comment in support of the ordinance submitted by Jon Gromek of <br /> Wyandotte Ave. and attached here. <br /> A motion was made to recommend the substitute version of Ordinance 02-2021 for adoption. <br /> Motion was seconded. <br /> A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Litten, Kepple and Rader <br /> Nays: none <br /> Motion adopted.
