Placed on 1st reading & referred to Finance 11/15/21;2nd reading 12/6/21 Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, ORDINANCE NO. 50-2021 BY: Rader, Shachner AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Planning & Development, the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager to enter into service contracts in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood for the Department of Planning & Development in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate resolution of Council. W MREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that delay could impair the City's ability to provide necessary services in a timely manner for fiscal year 2022; now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Planning & Development, the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into contracts in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the Division of Planning & Development, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown, except as hereinafter provided: Service Contracts $697509000 American Rescue &Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) HOME Homeless Assistance & Supportive Services Program American Rescue &Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) State &Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Americans with Disabilities Act Public Infrastructure Transition Program Building Code Enforcement Childcare Scholarship Assistance Commercial Property Revitalization Program Community Development Block Grant Program Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) CDBG-CV Program Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) ESG-CV Program Cuyahoga County Department of Development Cuyahoga County Planning Commission
