Discussion: At the invitation of President O'Malley, Clerk Bach discussed the reason for substitution, explaining that the list of ordinances to amend the Code was not complete, and one ordinance was added to the list. A roll call vote was taken as follows: Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner Nays -None All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 01-2022 was substituted. Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Ordinance 01-2022. RESOLUTION 2022-01 — A RESOLUTION to recognize Mr. Luke Fischer for the talented writing, civic pride, and heartfelt sentiments he demonstrated in his award- winning essay "4h Generation Lakewoodite." (pg. 4) Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to adopt Resolution 2022-01. Discussion: Mr. Fischer spoke about his Lakewood experience and read his essay aloud for Council. President O'Malley and councilmembers complimented Mr. Fischer's efforts and encouraged him to keep writing. Patty Ryan, CEO of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, spoke about the essay contest and congratulated Mr. Fischer for his work. On the motion: A roll call vote was taken as follows: Yeas —Bullock, Kepple, Litten, O'Malley, Rader, Shachner Nays -None All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2022-01 was adopted. 6.
