MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> February 22, 2022 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:36 PM by President <br /> O'Malley <br /> Present: Kyle Baker, Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Daniel J. O'Malley, <br /> Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief <br /> Dunphy,Public Works Director Ducu, Human Resources Director Claudia Dillinger,Planning <br /> Director Shawn Leininger, Law Director Corrigan, Human Services Director Gelsomino, <br /> Chief of Staff John Storey, Deputy Clerk Lascu, Clerk Bach <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to approve the minutes of <br /> the February 7, 2022 meeting without the necessity of a reading. All members voted in favor. <br /> Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> 1. ORDINANCE 04-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council amending <br /> certain penalties within Chapter 13 Building Code, of the Lakewood Codified <br /> Ordinances to establish more appropriate penalties for violation of the Property <br /> Maintenance and Safety Code. (I"read and referred to HPD 217122) (pg. 1) <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to defer Ordinance 04-2022. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 04-2022 was deferred. <br /> 2. ORDINANCE 05-2022 —AN ORDINANCE to take effect November 30, 2022 <br /> enacting requirements for structural engineer reports from property owners for the <br /> facade of any occupiable structure 30 years old and more than four stories in height, for <br /> any underground parking structure and any above ground parking structure.
