(to be provided) <br /> Councilmember Bullock delivered the following oral report: <br /> On March 28h, the Committee met to consider Resolution 2022-09, which follows this report on <br /> the docket tonight. We got a presentation from the experts who supervise the So/Smart <br /> designation, which is a US Department ofEnergy funded program to help cities develop <br /> building code standards,planning and zoning changes, inspection protocols for solar so that <br /> everybody who wants to put solar on their private property knows the rules of the road and it <br /> would simples and streamline the process. We had a though ful discussion and we <br /> recommended adoption to the full Council ofResolution 2022-09. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Bullock, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file the <br /> oral report. All in favor. Motion passed. The oral report was received and filed. <br /> 3. RESOLUTION 2022-09 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, expressing the City's intention to become a <br /> SolSmart-designated community to improve solar market conditions, making it faster, <br /> easier, and more affordable for the City's residents and businesses to install solar energy <br /> systems. Resolution 2022-09 was adopted. <br /> 4. Public Safety Committee report regarding meeting held March 28, 2022. (pg. 003) <br /> Motion by Vice President Litten, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file the written <br /> report. All in favor. Motion passed. ORDINANCE 06-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council amending <br /> Sections 351.026 Emergency During Heavy Snow Storms and 351.27 Parking Regulations <br /> During Emergency of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to clarify and update those <br /> sections.
