Section 2. That the City of Lakewood calls on Congress to codify into law, once and for <br />all, the right to safe abortion for all people within the United States and its territories. <br />Section 3. That the City of Lakewood directs the Clerk of Council to transmit this <br />resolution to Lakewood's representative in the Ohio legislature, Senator Nickie J. Antonio and <br />Rep. Michael J. Skindell; Members of Congress Marcy Kaptur and Shontel Brown; and Ohio's <br />US Senators, Sen. Sherrod Brown and Sen. Robert Portman. <br />Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: ,',p <br />Approved: <br />Jo bitten, President of Council <br />400 <br />Maureen M.
