MINUTES OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br /> AUGUST 29, 2022 <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> Present: Councilmembers Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Marx, Shachner <br /> Also Present: Planning Director Leininger, Mayor George, Chief of Staff John Storey, Brent <br /> Sobczak of CASTO, Tracey Nichols of Project Management Consultants (virtual), Ken <br /> Kalynchuk of Project Management Consultants, Clerk Bach taking minutes <br /> Call to Order: 6:10 p.m. <br /> A motion was made and seconded to approve the absence of Councilmember Rader. All <br /> members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Update from the Planning Department regarding the proposed downtown <br /> development. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to enter executive session for the <br /> purpose of considering confidential information related to the marketing plans, specific business <br /> strategy, production techniques, trade secrets, or personal financial statements of an applicant for <br /> economic development assistance and to consider the sale of property. <br /> A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Marx, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Rader <br /> Motion passed. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to include Mayor George, city <br /> staff and contractors and Brent Sobczak of CASTO into executive session. <br /> A roll call vote was conducted as follows: <br /> Yeas: Baker, Bullock, Kepple, Litten, Marx, Shachner <br /> Nays: none <br /> Absent: Rader <br /> Motion passed. Committee of the Whole entered executive session at 6:13 p.m. <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to exit executive session.
