<br /> The City of Lakewood is such a diverse community, and the Skate Park adds to that diversity. My daughter
<br /> attended the Skateboard Camp for the first time this summer and hasn't stopped talking about it since. She begs
<br /> to go back to the park on a daily basis. As we gear up and head out, we know we will be greeted by all ages who
<br /> have a common interest and passion. The Skate Park gets crowded, but there is always somebody there to help
<br /> others perfect their skills, whether it is somebody pushing off on level ground, attempting their first drop in, or
<br /> figuring out the correct way to do an 011ie.
<br /> I am asking that the Finance Commitee continue fundraising and financing efforts to improve such an unique
<br /> space that offers so much enjoyment to so many people.

<br /> not be with me if it wasn't for the skatepark and I believe that expanding it will not only make it a better place for
